About the Journal

Al-Maqasid: Kajian Ilmu Hukum & Ekonomi Syariah (Sinta …, p-ISSN: ……, e-ISSN: ……) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Sharia, UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi, twice a year. Since its establishment, the journal has consistently published scholarly articles addressing contemporary issues in Islamic law and sharia-based economics. The journal provides an academic forum for critical discussions in the fields of: (1) Islamic Law, including fiqh, ushul fiqh, family law, criminal law, constitutional law, and contemporary legal issues; (2) Sharia Economics & Finance, such as Islamic banking, microfinance, zakat and waqf management, halal industry regulation, and sharia economic policy; and (3) Law and Society, including socio-legal studies, legal pluralism, customary law, governance, and the interaction between Islamic law and state law.
